Why Should Guests Attend?
Disability touches every community.
One in four adults in the United States has some type of disability, and one in 36 children is diagnosed with autism (CDC).
According to the 2022 American Community Survey, 30,373 Loudoun County residents (7.1 percent) have at least one disability.
People with disabilities experience poverty at twice the rate of those without disabilities, due in part to barriers in employment, education, and the added costs of daily living.
As Loudoun County continues to grow, so does the need for accessible programs and services that support low-income families and individuals with disabilities.
The Opportunities Breakfast invites guests to learn more, connect with our mission, and discover how together we can build a more inclusive community.
Attendance is free, and breakfast is provided. While this event is a fundraiser, guests are simply invited at the end of the program to make a contribution if they feel inspired. There is no minimum or required gift.
