Partners Help Make It Possible The Aurora School partners with many public and private institutions to make sure that our students and staff have the access to what they need for success!

Jill’s House

Each school year, The Aurora School partners with Jill’s House to help provide respite for The Aurora School families.  With the growing enthusiasm about this program, Jill’s house is now hosting and Aurora Night every Thursday for the families that are interested.  Transportation is provided to and from Jill’s House.  The students are picked up after school on Thursday so they can enjoy a fun activity-filled evening and then brought back to school on Friday!

George Mason University

Aurora has partnered with George Mason University (GMU) to provide supervision to those students completing the course work necessary to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analysts or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) exam.  We have three adjunct professors at Aurora that supervise this program (internships and practicums).  We offer full-time employment to students that are looking for experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Rust Library – Loudoun County Public Library

Students attend weekly Community-based Instruction trips to Rust Library – in the mornings before the library opens to the public – to get our students accustom to the library and its staff.
