Pathways to the Community: Nutritious & Delicious Meal Planning

Join VCE Nutrition Educator, Emily, in this hands-on class to learn more about planning and preparing healthy meals. During this class, you will be preparing a balanced meal to take home with you. You will also be able to taste test some delicious and nutritious recipes.
Bio: Emily Jacobs is a registered dietitian and the Nutrition Educator for Virginia Cooperative Extension. She has over 15 years of cooking experience and believes that nutritious foods can also be very delicious if prepared properly.
Timing: 1.5 hours – 30 minutes for a class presentation with taste testing, and 1 hour for
a hands-on cooking class
Cost: VCE will cover the cost of ingredients and will bring incentives for participants
to take home
